The Imperial Assault Carrier measures a massive 46cm long, 22cm wide and 14cm high. It costs $129.99 and comes with 1216 pieces. It comes with with 5 minifigures; Sabine Wren, Agent Kallus, 2 TIE Pilots and an Imperial Officer as well as an Imperial Astromech Droid. All of these minifigures are good but, unfortunately, only the Imperial Astromech is exclusive to this set. This Droid, however, is one of my favourites. It has a nice, black, printed body and a transparent head. Also, although Sabine isn't exclusive, her pink Mandalorian helmet is and it looks great. The weapons included are 3 Blaster Pistols, 2 Mandalorian Pistols and Agent Kallus' Bo Rifle. The model itself comes with 4 micro-scale TIE Fighters that fit well to the bottom of the ship. They can be released by pushing some pins nicely hidden in the backs of the wings. The Fighters, despite their size, look really good and have a nice printed tile at the front. The wings themselves have nice detail and thickness and also hide the mechanisms very well. At the backs of each wing is a spring-loaded shooter that are well hidden. There are 2 spare bolts that can be clipped onto a tray and the entire thing slots into a hole just under the cockpit which can be accessed by opening a flap. The cockpit itself lifts open, revealing space to hold one minifigure. Inside, there is much space but LEGO have still put a console in which is nice. On the top of the model is a small handle next to a radar dish that lifts out to allow you to better hold the ship. Both the sides of this middle section fold open to reveal a sort of control room with 2 seats and 2 consoles. However, the floor opens to reveal space to put two storage crate that you can load your spare studs into. At the back end there are 3 good-looking engines but the centre one does more than just look good. If you turn it, it simultaneously rotates the top and bottom stud-shooting turrets. In conclusion, I think this is a nice set but nothing more. There is some good features with a fair amount of space but the minifigures are a bit average.
