LEGO® Scooby Doo Mummy Museum Mystery 75900 Review

The LEGO Mummy Museum Mystery is the smallest and cheapest of the Scooby Doo Wave 1 sets. It costs $14.99 and comes with 110 pieces. Three minifigures are included in this set; Scooby Doo (standing up), Shaggy and a Mummy. Shaggy and Scooby look good and accurate to the cartoons and it is nice to be able to get them in such a cheap set. The mummy is cool, too, as he has an alternate face revealing the man behind the mask: Dr Najib. A small tile with some printing on it represents a file with some pictures of the mummy and looks great. The model itself measures 12X5X12cm and is short but sweet. I like the detailed panels, sarcophagus and steps. The spotlights too are only small but look really good. There are 2 play features in this set which allow you to play out the story. Behind the model, there is a chain attached to a brick-built sandwich. The idea is, that when Scooby or Shaggy grab the sandwich, they pull the chain opening the sarcophagus and revealing the mummy. I like the way there is a story instead of just a simple chain. The other features is the stairs open to reveal the secret stash of jewels that are included with the set. Overall, I think this set is great for kids and still looks good for adult fans of the series. It is cheap but includes three great figures and I like the way there is a story to reenact. Kids will love this.
