I like all of the starter sets but this is one of my favourites. It costs $9.99 and comes with 90 pieces making it about 11 cents per piece. This set comes with 3 minifigures; a male scuba diver with a remote control, a female scuba diver with a camera and a deep sea diver with a crowbar. I like the print for all of these minifigures and they all have nice accessories and equipment. There are 3 mini-elements to this set. The first is a LEGO shark which looks good and has an opening mouth to simulate him biting things. The second is a remote submarine which measures 8X7X4cm and looks really nice. It has two spinning propellers, 2 jointed arms and a light as well as a sort of camera in the front. The final feature is a small crate covered in seaweed that is intended to store the treasure. The idea is that you use the sub and minifigures to clear the seaweed and get at the treasure and I like the fact kids can make up their own story. In conclusion, I really like this starter set. It comes with three solid minifigures and some good looking builds but also has a fair amount of play-ability. A nice way to start off a city collection.
