LEGO® Technic Bulldozer 42028 Review

The LEGO Technic Bulldozer costs $49.99 and comes with 617 pieces making it approximately 6.5 per piece which is great. When built, this thing measures a fantastic 29X16X13cm which is great for it's price. I absolutely adore the look of this model from the grill to the caterpillar tracks to the blade. There is not aesthetics wise that I don't like. There are only a few stickers with this set but they are used well to add texture to the Bulldozer. It comes with three main features. The first of these is a working V-4 Piston Engine that is activated when the tracks turn. You can see this well as the sides of this compartment are open. The next feature is that the rippers at the back can be raised and lowered by turning a cog behind the cabin. Finally, the entire big blade at the front can go up and down by turning the exhaust pipe. This is good because it doesn't require much effort to do. On top of this fantastic build, the parts can be rebuilt into a wheel trencher that looks good for a B-Model. This features a raisable mechanism that also turns and also has the engine only this is under the bonnet. This build measures 28X13X12cm. Overall, I absolutely love this set from the functions to the looks and even the alternate build looks spot on. I would even go as far as saying this is one of the best LEGO sets for its price point. I love it.
