The Crooks' Hideout costs $69.99 and comes with 473 pieces making it about 14.8 cents per piece which is far too much in my opinion. It comes with 5 minifigures; 3 crooks and 2 police officers as well as an alligator. The accessories included are a snake, a map, a safe, a hand truck, backpack, walkie-talkie, banknotes, handcuffs and a red crystal. There are 5 seperate builds to this set; a swamp boat, a truck, a helicopter, a tree and the hideout itself. The swamp boat measures 16X7X8cm and looks great. It has a nice red colour with a large propellor at the back and engine detail at the back. It also has space for 2 minifigures but not much else. The truck looks fantastic and measures 13X7X7cm. It has thick tyres, some nice engine detail and space in the cabin for a minifigure. The main feature, though, is that there's a police dinghy on the roof that measures 5X2X9cm. The helicopter is a simple build, measures 18X18X9cm and looks okay. I don't think the buoyancy tanks look very good for the size and it would have been better with skids. There is space for the pilot and propellers. The tree is a small build that has nice detail. There is a space at the bottom for the backpack but, apart from that, not much else. The hideout itself looks really good win the front panels and vines. There is a jetty area, a wind turbine and some interior detail. Inside, ther is are chairs and a table, a map on the wall and a safe. Overall, I think this is a really nice set but the helicopter looks a bit odd. The value too is a bit prices and I think this would be better at a cheaper price.
