LEGO® City Deep Sea Helicopter 60093 Review

The LEGO Deep Sea Helicopter costs $49.99 and comes with 388 pieces which is, yet again, far too expensive in my opinion. I think it would be better priced at $39.99. This set comes with three minifigures; a Scuba Diver, a Submariner and a Helicopter Pilot. The accessories included are a walky-talky, a shark, a treasure chest as well as some treasure to go in it. The submarine build measures 12X10X6cm and looks pretty good. I like the propellers and lights but I don't like the claws on the arms as they're ugly and not very useful. There is an opening cockpit to fit in the submariner. The helicopter measures 24X8X12cm and looks really good from the outside. The twin-rotor design looks really nice and I like the engine detail. I really like the cockpit and window pieces. The cockpit comes off to put in your pilot where there is a console piece. However, I don't think the colours look good inside as they clash massively. The doors just behind he cockpit open to place the treasure that the submarine has just picked up. Finally, a cog on the side operates a winch that can pick up the submarine. In conclusion, I think this set has a lot of potential but needs a bit of work. I love everything except for the submarine arms, the helicopter interior and the price.
