Costing $29.99, the LEGO Snowspeeder is a nice addition to any collection. It has 279 pieces and, when built, measures 18X14X5cm. It comes with 3 nice minifigures; Luke Skywalker, Dak Ralter and a Snowtrooper. The weapons included are Luke's lightsaber, a blaster pistol and Buildable Tripod Gun. I think the shape of the Snowspeeder looks good but I think the colours are a bit off and it needs the orange stripe. The Snowspeeder itself has an opening cockpit to load in Luke and Dak. I think this looks good and the printing on the clear placid brings it together. There is a pair of spring-loaded shooters with a spare bolt. They are nicely hidden away which is always appreciated. At the rear end of the speeder is an engine and a stud shooter that comes with five spare studs. Finally, there is the harpoon that the Snowspeeder iconically used to take down the AT-AT walker. Overall, I think this is a cheap and cheerful set that looks good but a splash of colour wouldn't go amiss. Despite this, the Snowspeeder is a set I would recommend.
