Although I have never seen these minifigures before, I already love them. This set costs $12.99 and comes with 95 pieces making it more than 10 cents per piece which isn't too good. However, I think the minifigures make up for this. This set comes with four minifigures, two of each type. The first 2 are Shadow Guards who have the same mould and design as the Royal Guards only with inverted colours which is cool. They are both armed with lightsaber staffs which are new and a breath of fresh air. The other 2 are Shadow Troopers; the same style and mould of Stormtroopers only in a gun metal grey colour which I think is fantastic. These are both armed with stud-shooting blasters and come with 8 spare studs. The mini build included with this set is a Shadow Speeder which looks reasonably good. It comes in the same grey, black and red colour scheme as the troopers and measures 14X10X5. It has a nice curved front with tiny wings and a set of bigger, angled wings at the back. Underneath these are flick-fire missiles that, unfortunately, have no spares. Finally, there are two spaces for two minifigures in the centre but there are no consoles or controls which is odd. In conclusion, I think this set has fantastic minifigures that are new and cool. However, a few extra pieces and work on the speeder would be good but this isn't too bad as the minifigures are the focus and LEGO have done well with that.
