LEGO® Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace Sith Infiltrator 75096 Review

Darth Mauls LEGO Sith Infiltrator is back and, in my opinion, better than ever. It comes with 662 pieces, measures 38X29X15cm and costs $89.99. First off, I want to say that I think this set is overpriced. It's a good set, don't get me wrong, but I think it could have been a bit cheaper. It includes four minifigures; Qui Gon Jin, Darth Maul, Young Anakin Skywalker and for some reason Watto even though his character wasn't in this scene. All the minifigures are good with nice print and I like Darth Maul despite the fact I know some people don't like his smiling face but I think it's not too bad. The accessories included in this set are a spare bolt, Qui Gon's lightsaber, Darth Mauls lightsaber and the top of Darth Mauls head for when he doesn't have his hood on. Another inclusion is the Sith Speeder that is made up of three parts and looks good. There are also three droid probes that fit into a storage compartment at the front of the ship. They can be easily released by pulling a pin on the side of the ship. There is also two more storage compartments on the sides of the ship to store the weapons and accessories. The landing gear on the bottom can be retracted and the wings can be folded out. Also, to load Darth Maul into the cockpit, a hatch at the top and back can be opened. In the cockpit is some consoles and other detail. To either side is a spring-loaded shooter that is nicely hidden away. Overall, I would say this is a good-looking, nicely-built set but is a bit overpriced for what it is.
